This winter my family and I are taking a little working holiday to experience life in another ski town in Whistler!! I will be away from December 10th to April 20th. While I am away I have two great therapists taking over my practice, so I encourage you to maintain your same massage treatments and continue to book your appointments with Kristen or Vanessa.

Kristen Miller
Kristen has been working in Fernie as a licensed massage practitioner since 2002. Kristen has completed a 2 year, 2200 hour Massage Therapy course in Calgary, Alberta which focused on effective techniques to treat acute/chronic conditions, postural and injury assessment as well as general wellness massage to reduce tension and stress. Kristen has worked in both the spa and clinical setting such as Lizard Creek Lodge, The Massage Place and Island Lake Lodge.
Vanessa Avery
Vanessa has been a massage therapist for over nine years, and specializes in deep tissue, relaxation and pre/post natal massage. She loves all Fernie's seasons especially the snowy months. She moved to Fernie in 2005 and was hired by Cathy Morris as a therapist at Island Lake Lodge. She took over managing the spa at Lodge once Cathy moved into town to open The Massage Place and continues to massage seasonally up at the lodge. She is looking forward to a new experience treating Fernie folk in town as well this winter!
It’s just for the winter I am definitely coming back to Fernie in the spring!!
